Jennifer Ivory, a self-described “bug enthusiast,” creates highly realistic, stunningly beautiful insect sculptures using a host of materials – illustration ink, watercolor, acrylic, heavy coated art papers, transparency film, and feathers, among other media. Viewers often think her paper insects are real, so she exhibits them with the somewhat humorous disclaimer, “No insects were harmed in the making of this artwork. (They’re Not Real!)”

Designed to intrigue, her insect sculptures have sparked thousands of conversations with art patrons about habitat sustainability, pesticides, green gardening and humanity’s dependence upon insects. Learn more.
