Alison Kelly’s answer to apparel industry pollution is beautiful as well as ingenious: she botanically paints non-toxic fabrics, using only homegrown plants and flowers for dyeing. Her eco-printing permanently transfers floral imprints onto the cloth. She then strategically cuts the cloth into timeless silhouettes, using zero-waste templates.

Kelly aims for design that encourages innovation, hoping her technique will inspire others to think more deeply about sustainability when purchasing fashion.
