Celebrate Earth Day by stepping up your commitment to address climate change! Plan now – Monday, April 22 is fast approaching. Here are 3 great ideas:

  1. Be inspired! Visit one of the many museums and galleries now showing powerfully compelling climate change art. Check out our Climate Art Beat calendar for current climate art exhibitions in Boulder, Boston, Chicago, Easton (PA), Milwaukee, and New York City. (Check operating hours as some museums or galleries are closed on Monday but open for a visit later in the week.)

Easton, PA’s Nurture Nature Center presents a Science on a Sphere® program on climate change and Honoring the Future’s Alaskan Journey: Artists Bear Witness to Climate Change exhibition this month. 1. Take your kids outside! Join them in simple, fun activities that connect you both to nature. See our Nature SmART Kid program for ideas on what you can do together. Then celebrate by helping your child choose and print a free downloadable, artist-designed certificate to help them remember the fun.
  1. Get prepared! Spring is shaping up to be a potentially unprecedented flood season in much of the United States. Take stock of your risks at home, work and school – and then take action. See our Climate SmART tip for April.
