Artists to Know

Honoring the Future collaborates with artists from many different backgrounds and perspectives.  Some view climate change as the defining issue of our generation; the need to respond drives their work.  Others simply hope to draw attention to the beauty of natural phenomena, such as Antarctic ice, that are fast disappearing.  Still others strive to be conscious of the environment in their work: by creating renewable energy-powered installations, using local or recycled materials, or conserving water, they model our path to a sustainable future.  All play a vital role in deepening our understanding of our climate challenge and our options for confronting it.
